More Than Lessons: Make Music Together!

One of the exciting benefits of taking weekly lessons at Jerry Evans School of Music is the opportunity to take your musical experience even further through Rock Band Academy and Small Classical Ensembles!

These ensemble programs are open to musicians of all skill levels, so whether your child is just getting started or has been playing for years, they can find a place to grow, collaborate and have fun making music with other students.

Ensembles meet in person for one hour each week at the school. Rehearsal schedules are created around the availability of the students in each group, making it possible to build ensembles that work well for everyone involved.

Students participate in 17 weekly rehearsals, culminating in a special performance for family and friends. Because students learn and develop their individual parts during their weekly private lessons, enrollment in ongoing weekly instrument lessons is required throughout the ensemble session. Rehearsals then give students the chance to bring those skills together, refine the music and experience what it's like to perform as part of a group.

Classes start the week of September 21st! Interested in learning more? Contact Jerry Evans School of Music at admin@jeschoolofmusic.com to find out about available lesson programs and ensemble opportunities. When reaching out, include your child's name, age, instrument and preferred style of music, and the school can help determine the best fit.
